The Miracle of the Splitting Moon

Assalamualaikom,

I was youtubing(remember i just coined that word) and watch some amazing and sometimes disturbing video clips. From storms lashing on light houses to hail storms that broke car windscreens. Then my buddy said, he does not believe in the "moon landing". I said, I do.

From there, I went to Apollo clips to some absurd behaviour of trying to force Neil Armstrong to swear on a bible that he landed on the moon, to which Mr Neil Armstrong replied,"you do not deserve a reply". Then I remember stories about Mr Armstrong hearing the azan while he was on the moon. And also some other story about the fault line on the moon.

So i googled moon images, and one thing led to another. I stumble upon a debate about the moon splitting. http://boards.history.com/topic/History-Of-Islam/Moon-Split-In/600017783&start=45 . There were also some helpful ones who gave urls for pictures and scientific opinion about the moon having been split in the past. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap021029.html

Shukoor, Al hamdu lillah, Allah hu Akbar . Praise to god for strengthening our faith.
The debates gave good points to ponder and show how truly the Holy Quran is regarding the non-believer way of showing their disbelieve, exactly!

The end is near.

Merdeka Man

This piece is special. It took more than a couple of months to complete. This piece was started at our temporary bengkel close to MINDEF. And it was "completed" at our new bengkel near the Air Panas PPR flats or Penduduk Pendapatan Rendah(see address above). That said, it still is not completely finish. I imagine making more pieces of this kind. Ideas flourished in my head, alas......

I've thought of looking for a patron for my art, but where do I start? Age is catching up on me. I used to sit for six hours at a stretch to complete a piece, but of a different style or texture or technique. But this Merdeka Man is completely different from what I've done before. It is actually pieces of 4 mm rods interconnecting to form the shape. Oops, there goes the secret.

Like I mentioned above, ideas and pieces are all in my head. But I can't put food in my stomach making them. Perhaps they won't see the light of day if things go on the way they are. I even got myself in the newspapers a few times hoping to attract that "patron". I got a wife once. And lost a family. Can't blame anybody.

Back to me and enough of the sob story. Anyone out there got any ideas?

I did approach a very very very rich relative once or twice. Both turn out to be very unpromising. Friends did help out once. It did not turn out as well as we hope out it will. I'm always grateful to have them friends. How I repay their kindness is beyond me. For now that is. Only Allah the Great can.

I heard my mum and daddy were talking about people that do not like the idea of learning math and science in English. But i think it's pretty cool. It makes me always want to do more revisions. If i don't understand anything or terms that the teacher used at school, i go back and search it in the dictionary or ask my parent. Sometimes i even use the internet.
I am not actually a genius. So i have to work hard on my studies. The exam is coming around the corner so please pray for me to get number one again in my upcoming exam. Last time i got first place in class, it was all my hard work and full support and prayers from my dear parent. It isn't so easy to learn science and mathematics in English but it is worth it to always make an effort to get great result....

bahasa?

Nak belajar maths dan sains dalam bahasa malaysia? Kenapa sampai di situ saja? Ugama pun jangan guna bahasa lain.. guna bahasa malaysia saja. Mandarin pun jgn guna. tamil pun tak boleh.. semua biar dalam bahasa malaysia.

sudah lah, pak samad. sampai beruban janggut, masih .... isk.. tak tau aku nak kata apa. Hari tu, masa kat SOGO , dah kata skali kat muka pak samad dah,, kenapa biar diri di peralatkan? kali ini.. minta maaf la Pak Samad OI!!! tak terkata apa2 dah.

Bila nampak muka nasaruddin, teringat aku masa dia di temuramah DJ stesen rangkain biru,, kalau tak silap. masa tu masih guna rangkaian biru. dengan DJ pun hang tak bley jawab... kalau lah ada rakaman interbiu tu kan bagus? wawancara... temuramah .......... mana2 lah hangpa suka nak pakai..

Yang jadi mangsa bukan hangpa, tapi anak cucu hangpa.. bengong betoi, lagi tak sedark kaa? Bukan saja Pak Samad jadi alat, tok2 guru pun jadi alat. Konon ngaji ugama jadi ulamak hebat lah? aku yang tak mengaji tinggi pun nampak perangkap samar Yahudi dalam usaha hangpa tu. cetek sungguh minda hangpa.
