Galleon 9

Its just a codename but this is the second biggest I've made though its not my design originally. Of the 30 odd years in this field, as far as i can recall, I've only made less than 10 of this design. Its dimensions are, height approximately 30 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 24 inches long. I'm just guessing because I don't have one for me to measure now. : ) Notice the three masts, there's another even rarer galleon which is the Galleon 10, with 5 mast and even taller and longer. I made only two. One of which broke when I fell and landed on it. Took me a few years to gather the courage to make the 2nd one. :) Interested? Gimme a buzz, ring, whatever..

What I think of local batik? Someone once asked me.
Hmm. That’s a tough one. I think there is still room for expansion. Diversify. Increase if you must. Say, in its production and promotion.

The problem with local batik is its way too expensive to get designer labels. The unique ones are always expensive. Wished I can wear batik everyday, in comfortable materials such as cotton. Ready to wear are not available easily. But if one wants batik that’s exactly the same as the next one on the shelf, then most probably that’s not batik but a clone version of batik, probably made in China.

I like the batik done by my good friend, Sham. He is innovative. He strays away from traditional form of producing batiks. I think it’s the background that makes his batik special. Love it.

I also like batik in one colour but with different shades and tones. If you have seen hills and mountains in the morning, you would know what I’m talking about. Like a Chinese painting. All the batik pics you see here are my friend's work. If anyone wants to custom make a batik baju kurung or any kind of batik, feel free to contact me for details. Thank you.

Blabberings

Whats the issue of the day? I'm typing anything that comes to mind, trying to recall. What do I think of Pak Lah? Well, I think he should leave, seeing at the damage he's done so far. The damage might just be perceived but it can also be true.
To list them down would be impossible, seeing that I lack resources presently. Just to name a few would be justifiable though. Double tracking, The crooked bridge. The fourth floor. Any unsaid animosity to his predecessor. I think that should cover some thoughts I've been having. There are more, but they're not coming out of my head at the moment.
The latest brick is the one about the outburst protesting Tun's comments regards UMNO elections. A little childish if you ask me. Coming from the likes of Ahmad Shaberi Chik the Minister of Information.RAis said, Tun got the locus standi, which to me is a non issue anyway. As competent people would do, they should just let Tun blab out what ever he wants, where is the freedom of speech that they have been championing so far?
Shaberi should realise what a fool he's made out of himself, taking on the master of blab, LIVE! For the whole nation to judge. He should know better that not all Malaysians have the same level IQ . Come to think of it, even UMNO members don't have the same level IQ. Thats why there are leaders. And there are LEADERS.
I hope we'll get a new one soon. But I think the next one too will not be long in office. Just look at the number of schools that has been relocated. BBGS comes to mind. In its place, a grand commercial complex. Weld swimming pool behind it was long gone years before, depriving the likes of me a place to cool down and exercise at the same time.
How many fronts can one cover at one sitting? Maybe I'll be back with more later. But just an after thought, if I recall correctly, we, as in Tun and Daim did sold bonds back then. Are we covered?

THE OPERA
What is about journalist. Are they mind readers to boot?
They can tell if one is agitated, surprise or delighted. I can't help feeling this way, reading the articles publish on Sundays in the papers. Weren't it to,,,, damn! Now I can't even remember what it is I wanted to say. talk about physicologist, think I'll make an apppointment with one soon. " ) . Never mind, next time.

The Rulers have come out with a very polite advise to the Rakyats and to the politicians as well that they are not to drill and grill on the subject of the Unwritten Social Contract. Or is there one somewhere, just like that piece of missing Deed between the ancient rulers of Johor and the East India Company otherwise known as the Brits which ended up with us losing a piece of rock in the middle of the ocean to that upstart little kiasu of a nation. LOL.

Now where am I? Oh yes,it seems that now we have followed the footsteps of the US, albeit smaller in size, Bush signature produce a couple hundred trillions, ours, only 2.5 billion. I must have missed reading about the existence of Valuecap before.

Anyway I'll leave that as it is, up to you all to pursue it further.
